Use this doTERRA Immortelle Copycat Recipe to make your own version of the Immortelle essential oil blend for a fraction of the price.
20 drops Frankincense | |
16 drops Lavender | |
14 drops Sandalwood | |
10 drops Myrrh | |
6 drops Helichrysum | |
6 drops Rose Otto |
Add all of the essential oils to an essential oil dropper bottle and mix well.
doTERRA recommend applying a thin layer of the undiluted Immortelle blend to your face, neck and decolletage morning and night, then applying your usual moisturizer over the top. This allows the oils to penetrate and nourish the skin during the night and protect and nourish the skin during the day. You can use this copycat blend in the same way, or you could dilute it in your favorite carrier oil for skin care.
If you don't have all of the oils in this blend, you could consider trying a similar blend from another reputable company. Edens Garden's Age Defy is very close to an Immortelle dupe, with all of the same oils. The ingredient list is almost identical - Frankincense, Sandalwood, Lavender, Myrrh, Helichrysum, Rose Absolute and Rose- Otto. The only real differences are that Anti-Age contains both Rose Absolute and Rose Essential Oil, while Immortelle only contains Rose Essential Oil, and Anti-Age contains more Sandalwood than Lavender while Immortelle has more Lavender than Sandalwood. I can't tell the difference between the two.
The oils in the Immortelle essential oil recipe are known for their ability to nourish the skin, reduce the appearance of age spots and reduce inflammation. They're particularly well known for their anti-aging effects and ability to promote more youthful looking skin. But you can also use the blend in a diffuser. It has a beautiful sensual aroma.
