Taureans are steadfast, loyal and dependable. They're often ambitious and are hard working and sensible. They love luxury and sensuality and adore being pampered.

The book Astrological Aromatherapy recommends Rose as the signature essential oil for Taurus because of the Taurean love of luxury and earthly pleasures. Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang and Geranium are all luxurious oils belonging to the planet Venus and so are all suitable oils. Carraway and Fennel are also recommended for their ability to improve digestion as Taurus has a tendency to overindulge in rich food.

Planetary Apocethary recommends Vanilla for grounding and relaxing, Thyme for courage and Palmarosa in skin care products.

I made this blend as a gift and wanted to use the luxurious oils rather than the digestive ones, so I combined Rose, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang and Vanilla to create a sensual blend that's perfect for pampering. The Taurean I gave it to loved it!

Warnings - Ylang ylang oil is best avoided by babies and young children. Vanilla may cause irritation on highly sensitive skin. A patch test is recommended before using it on the skin.
