Use this doTERRA Peace recipe to make your own version of the Peace essential oil blend for a fraction of the price.
26 drops Vetiver | |
24 drops Lavender | |
20 drops Ylang Ylang | |
16 drops Frankincense | |
10 drops Clary Sage | |
10 drops Marjoram | |
6 drops Cistus (Labdanum) | |
6 drops Spearmint |
Note that Cistus and Labdanum are different names for the same essential oil. It's listed as Labdanum on the doTERRA Peace bottle but you'll find it more commonly under the name Cistus.
To make the blend, add all of the essential oils to an essential oil dropper bottle and mix well. Add 3-5 drops of this to your diffuser whenever you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed and you feel the need for reassurance.
To make a Peace roller recipe, add 8 drops of the master blend to a 10 ml roller bottle and fill the rest with carrier oil.
If you don't own a lot of these oils, you could try a similar blend from another reputable supplier. Edens Garden's Worry Less is a good substitute. It contains all of the the same oils and is pretty much a duplicate of the doTERRA Peace blend at a much lower price.
Alternatively you could try making a similar blend with substitutions for any oils you don't have. I wouldn't recommend substituting for Vetiver, Lavender, Ylang Ylang or Frankincense as they're the main components of the blend but you could try substituting for some of the other oils:
