This essential oil recipe for bursitis uses a combination of juniper, cypress and marjoram to help relieve bursitis pain and inflammation. It can be used for bursitis of the hip, knee, shoulder or elbow.

Juniper oil is very effective for reducing pain and inflammation and is often used to help with inflammation around the joints. Cypress is helps improve circulation to the area and Marjoram also relieves pain and improves circulation. Combined together, they make a great bursitis blend.

Ingredients


The dilution of this recipe is 4.5%. This dilution is suitable for chronic conditions like aches and pains.


5 drops Juniper Berry
2 drops Cypress
1 drops Marjoram
9.5 ml Carrier oil of your choice
Warnings - Juniper Berry is best avoided during pregnancy and by people with kidney disorders. Cypress oil is best avoided during pregancy and while breastfeeding.

Instructions

Add the essential oils to a 10 ml roller bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with carrier oil. Apply to the affected joints twice a day.
