Instructions

Add all of the essential oils to an essential oil dropper bottle and mix well.

To make a Deep Blue roller recipe, add 8 drops of the master blend to a 10 ml roller bottle and fill the rest with carrier oil.

If you don't own a lot of these oils, you could try a similar blend from another reputable supplier. Eden's Garden's Massage Therapy contains exactly the same oils and is extremely similar.

Alternatively you could try making a similar blend with substitutions for any oils you don't have. Wintergreen, Camphor and Peppermint are pretty much essential to this blend so I wouldn't substitute for any of them, but if you're missing one or two of the other oils, you could try these substitutions:

  • If you don't have Ylang Ylang, try Lavender. It does smell quite different but it's another floral oil with similar effects for pain and tension
  • If you don't have Helichrysum, try 4 drops of Clary Sage and 4 drops of Bergamot. Alternatively, try Lavender or Copaiba. Again they smell different but have similar effects for pain and tension
  • If you don't have Blue Tansy, try Roman Chamomile or an extra drop of German Chamomile
  • If you don't have German Chamomile, try Roman Chamomile or Lavender
  • If you don't have Osmanthus, try Rose, Jasmine or Lavender
