Use this copycat recipe to make your own version of the doTERRA Citrus Bliss blend for a fraction of the price.
| 3 drops Wild Orange | |
| 2 drops Lemon | |
| 1 drops Grapefruit | |
| 1 drops Bergamot | |
| 1 drops Mandarin (Red Mandarin) | |
| 1 drops Mandarin (Green Mandarin) | |
| 1 drops Lime | |
| 1 drops May Chang (Litsea Cubea) | |
| 1 drops Tonka Bean | |
| 1 drops Vanilla Absolute |
Combine all of the ingredients in a 5 ml dropper bottle, then add 3-5 drops to your diffuser or add 4 drops to a 10 ml roller bottle and fill with your favorite carrier oil. I also like to add a drop to a diffuser necklace - it's such a lovely blend to carry around with you throughout the day.
If you don't have all of these citrus oils (and let's face it, how many of us have this many different citrus oils), try combining a drop or two of each citrus oil you have. Pretty much any combination of a number of different citrus oils smells divine and will have the same uplifting, joyful effect that Citrus Bliss has.
You probably won't have Tonka bean as it's one of the less common oils. Tonka bean has Vanilla overtones to it so you could use an extra drop of Vanilla instead of Tonka bean. It won't smell quite the same but it will be similar.
Eden's Garden does a very similar blend called Citrus Cream for a lower price. It has 7 different citrus oils (sweet orange, lemon, pink grapefruit, red mandarin, bergamot, tangerine and clementine) plus Vanilla, so it's a good option if you don't own a lot of these oils.
