I recently picked up athlete's foot from the local pool - gross! I used this recipe and it was gone within a week.

Ingredients

The dilution of this recipe is 8%. This dilution should only be used for short periods of time for acute conditions.

5 drops Tea Tree
3 drops Lemongrass
5 ml Carrier oil of your choice
Warnings - Lemongrass oil is best avoided during pregancy and has possible drug interactions. Lemongrass oil is best avoided by babies and young children.

Ingredients

Instructions

Start by mixing 2 drops of tea-tree oil with 1 drop of lavender. Dip a cotton ball in the undiluted mixture and wipe it over the affected area, making sure you cover the area between the toes and around the toe-nails well.

Then add 5 drops of tea tree and 3 drops of lemongrass to a 5 ml rollerbottle and fill the rest with carrier oil. Rub this blend over the feet, again making sure you get between the toes and around the nails.

Repeat the treatment twice a day until all signs of fungal infection are gone. I kept re-applying the massage oil for a few extra days just to make sure it was gone.
