Instructions

Add all of the essential oils to an essential oil dropper bottle and mix well. Add a few drops of the blend to a diffuser or add 4-6 drops to a 10 ml roller bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with your favorite carrier oil.

Some of my favorite ways to use RC are:

  • in a diffuser or as a steam inhalation for colds, blocked nose and sinus congestion - RC is great for clearing the airways
  • in a diffuser when I need a bit of extra get up and go - RC always helps to energise and motivate me

If you don't own a lot of these oils, you could try a similar blend from another supplier. The closest I could find was Rocky Mountain's Breathe Ease blend. It has 7 of the same oils (eucalyptus radiata, lemon eucalyptus, myrtle, peppermint, spruce, pine and marjoram) plus Ravintsara. It's not exactly the same but it's very similar and it gets very good reviews. And it's a lot less expensive than RC.

You could also try making your own blend with substitutions for any oils you don't own:

  • if you don't have both eucalyptus globulus and eucalyptus radiata, try using 16 drops of whichever kind of eucalyptus you have.
  • if you don't have myrtle, try tea tree instead
  • if you don't have marjoram, try thyme
  • if you don't have pine, try fir or black spruce
  • if you don't have lemon eucalyptus, try 3 drops of lemon and an extra 3 drops of eucalyptus
  • If you don't have cypress, you can use extra pine, black spruce or eucalyptus
  • if you don't have black spruce, try fir or extra pine or cypress
