The dilution of this recipe is 0.4%. This dilution is suitable for young children, pregnancy and sensitive areas.


10 drops Clary Sage
10 drops Geranium
10 drops Lavender
10 drops Ylang Ylang
10 drops Vanilla Absolute
2 cups Shea Butter
3/4 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
4 tbsp Jojoba Oil
1 1/2 tsp Mica Powder
Warnings - Clary Sage oil is best avoided during pregancy. Ylang ylang oil is best avoided by babies and young children. Vanilla may cause irritation on highly sensitive skin. A patch test is recommended before using it on the skin.

Melt the shea butter and coconut oil in a double boiler, stirring constantly until completely melted.
Add Jojoba oil and Essential Oils to mixture and combine well.
Stir in Mica powder (of your choice) - this adds shimmer and color to your body butter.
Place in refrigerator for 30 min to 1 hour.
Remove from refrigerator and whip with a handheld mixer. Mixture should be light and fluffy,
Transfer to jars - Seal - Store in a cool, dry area out of sunlight (it will melt if too warm).
