How to Convert to a Rollerball/Massage Oil Recipe or Change the Dilution or Size of a Rollerball/Massage Oil Recipe
e.g. if you want to convert a massage oil recipe that has 15 drops of Lavender oil, 12 drops of Sweet Orange oil and 100 ml of carrier oil to a 10 ml rollerball recipe with a dilution of 2%, you would:- Select 'Rollerball/massage oil blend'
- Select 'ml' as the answer to the question 'Is your bottle measured in ounces or ml'
- Enter 10 as the size of the bottle or container
- Select 2% as the dilution
- In the first row of the Essential Oils table, enter 'Lavender' as the name of the oil and '15' as the number of drops
- In the second row of the Essential Oils table, enter 'Sweet Orange' as the name of the oil and '12' as the number of drops. Note you DON'T need to enter the carrier oil
- Click Convert
How to Convert to a Diffuser Recipe
e.g. if you want to convert a rollerball recipe that has 5 drops of Lavender oil and 3 drops of Sweet Orange oil to a diffuser recipe, you would:- Select 'Diffuser blend'
- Select the size of your diffuser
- In the first row of the Essential Oils table, enter 'Lavender' as the name of the oil and '5' as the number of drops
- In the second row of the Essential Oils table, enter 'Sweet Orange' as the name of the oil and '3' as the number of drops.
- Click Convert
How to Convert to an Inhaler Recipe
e.g. if you want to use the essential oil conversion calculator to convert a rollerball recipe that has 5 drops of Lavender oil and 3 drops of Sweet Orange oil to an inhaler recipe, you would:- Select 'Inhaler blend'
- Select the size of your diffuser
- Click Convert
How to Use the Conversion Calculator as an Advanced Essential Oil Dilution Calculator
e.g. if you want a 10 ml rollerball recipe at 2% dilution, you want to use Lavender oil and Sweet Orange oil and you want Lavender to make up 75% of the essential oils and Sweet Orange to make up the other 25%, you would:- Select 'Rollerball/massage oil blend'
- Select 'ml' as the answer to the question 'Is your bottle measured in ounces or ml'
- Enter 10 as the size of the bottle or container
- Select 2% as the dilution
- In the first row of the Essential Oils table, enter 'Lavender' as the name of the oil and '75' as the number of drops
- In the second row of the Essential Oils table, enter 'Sweet Orange' as the name of the oil and '25' as the number of drops. Note you DON'T need to enter the carrier oil
- Click Convert
